We are seeking Age Managers for the 2024/25 season.
An Age Manager is a parent/carer in each age group who can answer questions about rules, equipment, how to run the different field and track events and assist athletes with basic skills. Age Managers serve as liaisons between families and the committee, providing updates and feedback.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need an extensive background in athletics or sports coaching. If you love the idea of building positive experiences for our athletes each Saturday, you have everything we are looking for.
We are looking for people who will make Saturdays fun, and understand that participation and PB’s are key.

What does an Age Manager do?
The Age Manager is a key point person for an age group e.g. 8’s boys who:
- Guides the age group through their weekly events, providing simple tips to introduce foundation skills and rules for those learning new events.
- Improves the experience for our GLAC families by helping to pass on key information from the age group to the committee, and from the committee to the age group.
- Foster a fun and inclusive environment for everyone who calls GLAC their summer sports home.
