3 Committee Positions to be filled for the 2022/2023 Season
We need you! We have 3 committee positions vacant for the up and coming 2022/23 season commencing in Sept: Championships Officer, Equipment co-ordinator & Grounds Officer.
We would love our parents to come forward and fill these roles to ensure the smooth preparation & running of the Club. Existing committee members will welcome any new members and will provide support every step of the way as you enter into your new role.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
CHAMPIONSHIPS OFFICER
Championships Officer is a committee position of the Glenbrook Little Athletics Centre. This is a 1 year appointment.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Working with Children Check required
- Attend Zone, Region & State competitions and act on Glenbrook’s behalf at these events – eg protests, duty allocations
- Organise Parent Duty Rosters and communicate with parents during events – eg Facebook
- Collate results of events for the Yearbook at end of season
- It would be an advantage to have an understanding of the competition events & general rules for competition
- Attend where possible monthly committee meetings
EQUIPMENT CO-ORDINATOR
Equipment Co-ordinator is a committee position of the Glenbrook Little Athletics Centre. This is a 1 year appointment.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Working with Children Check required
- Maintain equipment for all track and field events
- Keep inventory of equipment
- Identify & Order replacement equipment
- At start of Competition Days, lay out equipment for parents to set-up
- At end of Competition Days, return equipment to equipment shed
- Keep equipment shed in orderly fashion
- Attend where possible monthly committee meetings
GROUNDS OFFICER
Grounds Officer is a committee position of the Glenbrook Little Athletics Centre. This is a 1 year appointment.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Working with Children Check required
- Mark & Mow the oval in preparation for competition days
- All track and field marker equipment & ride-on mower provided
- Oval mow & markings required for circular track, straight track & field competition areas only
- Club assistance will be provided
- Organise routine maintenance of marking/mowing equipment when required
- Order marking/mowing equipment when required
- Attend where possible monthly committee meetings
